WINEMAKERS COMMENTS
In contrast to the Nebbiolo and Sangiovese, the Tempranillo is an early ripener and has no problem reaching full maturity in the soils at Heathcote.
PALATE & AROMA
A complex nose of raspberries and spice with currants, red liquorice and hints of incense and musk. Raspberries, pomegranates and spice on the palate, and a touch of chocolate on the finish.
FOOD MATCH
Lamb tagine and rice pilaf with dried cranberries and raisins.
